In June 2010, one of the leading independent safety auditing firms in the aviation industry, ARG/US, awarded Pecos Air Charter with the highest safety rating Platinum.  Only 5% of air charter operators worldwide have attained the Platinum rating.  You and your family’s safety is our top priority.  We have built our company utilizing the aviation industry's “best practices and procedures” where safety takes the leading role.  We have put our practices and procedures to the test through audits for both ARG/US Platinum rating and IS-BAO. We are proud that our hard work has been reconized by both orgainzation, but more than that we are pleased to know our priority on safety has real documented procedures behind them. Our dedicated team of pilots, maintenance and customer service personnel overseeing every aspect of your aircraft’s care. Our primary source for aircraft inspections and maintenance are the aircraft manufactures services centers where factory trained unbiased professionals inspect and assist in maintaining our aircraft to very high standards.

ARG/US Platinum Rating
ARG/US has been conducting on-site safety audits for the business aviation community for over a decade. The Platinum rating is only issued to companies that have a functioning Safety Management System, a clear and workable Emergency Response Plan, and appropriate written standards, implementation, and records for all major aspects of operations and maintenance.

Safety Management System
Pecos Air Charter employs a Safety Management System, which includes a critical risk assessment analysis from dispatch, air personnel and maintenance before every flight. Pecos Air Charter uses ARGUS PRISM SMS Tool kit that allows each flight to be analyzed and using an internal system, the flight is given a safety value. Only when that value is within acceptable limits is the flight accepted and dispatched. Pecos Air Charter personnel are routinely encouraged to share with the Safety Management Committee any pro-active idea or constructive insight.  Whether these comments arise from a general observation, a recent incident or stroke of inspiration that could potentially make the company safer and more proficient, our personnel can step forward without any fear of discrimination or punitive action.

TripCHEQ
ARG/US has developed the TripCHEQ program, which provides important information related to your specific flight details.  Pecos Air Charter uses TripCHEQ before your flight gets the go-ahead.

Part 135 Air Carrier
As a 14 CFR, Part 135 Air Carrier (certificate #5PSA125M) and aircraft operator, Pecos Air Charter complies with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) safety standards.  Pecos Air Charter’s highly trained pilots are certified in every facet of air safety and security.  In addition, each aircraft has a dedicated crew ensuring your pilots are always familiar faces. After every mission your aircraft returns to its secure hangar where our own maintenance team performs a post-flight review, cleans and readies the aircraft for its next mission.
